Confirmed: OnePlus 5T launching on November 16

But, OnePlus 5T was confirmed by the Chinese firm on social media just a few days back, and now, it has teased the launch event location for the device.

According to OnePlus, the 5T will begin shipping in North America and Europe less than a week after the unveiling, on November 21. The device will be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor along with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB onboard storage.

A teaser trailer for the upcoming OnePlus 5T reveal was also posted on the social networking site.

"In terms of specs, we expect a phone which utilises nearly the full front of the device in an 18:9 aspect ratio with rumours pointing to a 6" sized display. The OnePlus 5T could launch on November 16 based on a leaked screenshot of an Amazon listing.

It is also expected to run on Google's latest Android 8.0 Oreo OS with Oxygen UI on top of it as well as a heftier battery, at least compared to the OnePlus 5. The company is rumored to have equipped the phone with a stunning 19MP front camera.

OnePlus 5T is seen to be having extremely thin bezels on the sides.

However, there's one snag; the company plans to charge fans $40 for the privilege of seeing the next flagship handset unveiled in the flesh.

The Company has confirmed that they have been working on a OnePlus 5T and that it will be launched close to the end of November.

Would you pay to attend a phone launch? It'll be widely available in India on 28 November, and it'll come to China on 1 December. Internet sleuths have detected that the promo is in the intersection of West 34th Street and Broadway, making New York City a lock.

OnePlus revealed on their Twitter today that a launch event will take place next week for the highly anticipated OnePlus 5T. The image, meanwhile, shows Mahattan, New York.
