IOS 11.1.1 Update Released, Fixes Autocorrect Bug

If you're sick of messaging on your iPhone without the use of the letter "I", just follow this path to update your device: Settings- General- Software Update. Here's a look at the most important new iOS 11.1 features and iOS 11.1.1 fixes.

The autocorrect glitch began appearing after the release of iOS 11.1 last week. iOS 11.1 brought updates to devices, including dozens of emojis, updates to the Photo app and other improvements.

With the release of the update, that workaround should no longer be necessary. In addition to this, Apple also fixed another bug that caused "Hey Siri" to not work at times.

iOS 11.1.1 is now available for the iPhone and iPad, and it focuses on fixing two specific bugs.

Apple has released iOS 11.1.1 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, primarily to fix an embarrassing autocorrect flaw. Android users might not want to admit it, but iOS has a larger roster of premium apps, many of which cost money.

Apple Pay Cash is available on iOS 11.2, now available as a public beta 2 for developers and testers. If the bug has been affecting you, go grab iOS 11.1.1 to rid yourself of the issue.

Finally, you will need a debit or credit card loaded in the Wallet app for use with Apple Pay.

When you receive money it will automatically be stored on your Apple Pay Cash card.

Interestingly, AppleInsider reports that following installation, the update replaces all previous instances of the flaw with the correct character.
