Bulls Picked as NBA All-Star Game Host

A source confirmed that the NBA will announce on Friday that Chicago will host the 2020 NBA All-Star Game. He was joined by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Bulls President and Chief Operating Officer Michael Reinsdorf. The 69th annual game will take place at the United Center, home of the six-time National Basketball Association champion Chicago Bulls, on Sunday, February 16th.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver made the announcement during a press conference at the United Center.

All-Star Weekend returns to Chicago.

It will only be the third time in NBA history that Chicago will host the annual event, which will not only engage their fans more but will also allow them to see the best players around the league compete in the different events to be held throughout the NBA All-Star Weekend.

Before the annual showcase makes its way to Chicago, the National Basketball Association will make stops in Los Angeles and Charlotte, N.C., hosting the game at the Staples Center in 2018 and the Spectrum Center in 2019.
