The highly anticipated teaser for 'Incredibles 2' has finally arrived

It's been a long 13 years since The Incredibles came out of hiding in a world where superheroes were frowned upon and defeated the ultimate bad guy, Syndrome.

In case you need a refresher, The Incredibles told the story of a superhero couple - Helen/Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) and Bob/Mr. In the sequel, Elastigirl will take centre stage while Bob, Mr Incredible will deal with challenges of domestic life.

Alongside long-time family friend Frozone - voiced by Samuel L. Jackson - the family will not only have to wrestle with more bad guys in the sequel, but also with the realisation that baby Jack-Jack has some very special - and very potent - superpowers.

The finer details of the plot for The Incredibles 2 are unconfirmed at this point, but the action will unfold around the fact that Mr.

They have three children - Violet (Sarah Vowell), Dashiell (Spencer Fox), and Jack-Jack (Maeve Andrews) - and Helen stays at home while Bob attempts to hold down a job in insurance. Still, even the trailer specific footage of young Jack-Jack creating the film's official logo was fun to watch, the Incredibles theme is a great piece of music, and just hearing it surely got fans excited. Oscar-winning director Brad Bird (who also happens to be the voice of Edna Mode) confirmed at a panel earlier this year that the sequel will have a much stronger female presence. Incredible when he gets out of his depth with a supervillain.

But Pixar finally released a teaser trailer to the public on Saturday, November 18, which saw Jack-Jack testing out some of his newfound abilities - the same ones he tormented his babysitter with in the first film.
