Justin Timberlake Announces New Album Ahead of Super Bowl performance

Justin Timberlake Announces New Album Ahead of Super Bowl performance

He says this album is his most personal album yet, proving that every other album was created by an imaginary Justin Timberlake.

One major sign that there may not be reason to fret: longtime Timberlake collaborator, Pharrell, produced the album and says in the video that the lead single is a "smash".

But that's not all. Hopefully this new album means radio stations will stop infecting my ears with it. There's even a discernably Minnesotan aesthetic to the title and promo video for the record, which will be called "Man of the Woods" and arrives February 2, two days before the big game.

The wait is finally over for Justin Timberlake fans!

The album will be preceded by a new song out January 5.

The trailer showcases the natural beauty of Timberlake's home state of Tennessee, and the pop star discusses how much his family and his home have influenced Man Of The Woods.

Timberlake has been offering hints of his upcoming album for years. His wife, actress Jessica Biel - who appears in the video along with their son, Silas - is from the north woods of Minnesota.

Justin Timberlake will release his latest album two days after he turns 37 and two days before he headlines the Super Bowl halftime show.

He last sang on the Super Bowl stage in 2004, during Janet Jackson's infamous performance.
