Dustin Johnson six inches from a hole-in-one ... from 433 yards!

But not for Johnson who is now a 17-time PGA TOUR victor after his eight-shot demolition at the Sentry Tournament of Champions.

Brian Harman closed with a 72 for third on 277 after starting the day two shots behind Johnson. The latter overcame an ordinary start in Maui to post another top-ten finish on 12 under par.

He has now won at least one PGA TOUR event in all 11 of his seasons since his rookie year in 2008 - the longest active streak on TOUR.

Johnson, who held a two-shot lead going into the final day of the Tournament of Champions in Hawaii, absolutely smashed a ball from 433 yards.

Also, he said he missed it "a little thin".

He played the 12th hole in four shots on the weekend. It only crossed his mind when it was mentioned to him on Saturday.

Well, the PGA Tour's Twitter account on Monday posted a video of a number of near-hits that other players - from the legendary Nick Taylor to two-time major champion Zach Johnson - have enjoyed over the past several years.

"Not very long, I don't think".

"If I keep playing good, keep working, keep learning about myself, I just need to keep getting better scores without my A game like I have this week", Rahm said. "Whether I win or lose".

"It's no easy task to catch DJ", said Rahm, who lost to Johnson in the final of Match Play a year ago. "First I want to get to 20, then 30 and once there 40", he added.

"I got off to a great start, and I want to keep it going, " Johnson said. He was consistent and impressive through all four rounds, shooting 69-68-66-65-268.

"But if I can stay focused just on what I'm supposed to be doing, the shot I want to hit, and the next shot that I'm going to hit, then that's how I have success".
