US News ranks Clemson College of Education #1 national online program

Montclair State University's online Master of Arts in Educational Leadership program has been ranked #21 in the nation by the U.S. News & World Report 2018 Best Online Graduate Education Programs survey.

Western Illinois University has again been recognized by the U.S.News & World Report for offering some of the best online degree programs. Among the first in the nation and the first in the State of CT to offer full degrees online, Post fuels the personal aspirations and career goals of its students with inventive and robust learning technologies that deliver in-demand undergraduate and graduate degree programs, small class sizes, individual attention, and customizable degree concentrations. Additionally, the school offers online graduate programs in Business Administration (MBA), Marriage and Family Studies, and Ministry Studies (four emphases areas). Consequently, indicators like standardized test scores and high school class rankings that are used by the publication to rank brick-and-mortar colleges are not used to rank online programs.

The methodology for assessing online programs included factors such as student engagement, faculty credentials and training, student services and technology, peer reputation and admissions selectivity. U.S. News provides comprehensive data and ranking of online programs to prospective students.

The University tied for #21 - a significant increase from the U.S. News & World Report's 2017 ranking that tied it at #47.

Clemson Online staff continually work to test aspects of the College of Education Master of Education program to ensure improvement.

The College of Education's online graduate program continues to rank among the best in the nation at No. 13. FAU offers the Master of Accounting (with concentrations in either forensic accounting or business valuation), an Executive Master of Taxation and an Executive Masters in Health Administration, all of which offer opportunities for working professionals to earn high quality degrees online from an AACSB-accredited school. See a list of the top 20 programs. "Faculty in our online programs are committed to this form of program delivery, and have developed course materials and teaching methods that are second to none". The program combines a variety of departments within these colleges, including the Department of Computer Science and the Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, both in the College of Engineering; and the Department of Accounting and Information Systems, the Department of Business Information Technology, and the Department of Management, all in the Pamplin College of Business. Online Bachelor's of Arts are offered in psychology and social science. In addition, students can tailor the online BGS degree by choosing up to three of 24 fully online minors.
