Ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter, Maryam Nawaz, also rallied on Monday in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, with the latter shouting the slogan "Kashmir will become Pakistan". "From civilian to military governments, there has been no difference in our Kashmir policy".

While expressing solidarity with people of Kashmir, General Qamar Javed Bajwa said independence is the destination of Kashmir and it will arrive soon.

The foreign minister Pakistan always wanted the peaceful solution to the core issue of Kashmir and the world should ensure early implementation of the United Nations resolutions for that goal.

The premier said that Pakistan is committed to the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute, adding that the huge Kashmiri diaspora all over the world is passionate about fighting for their rights but needs leadership, which can be only provided from the parliamentarians by remaining united. Saeed is an internationally designated terrorist even though he is influential in Pakistan amongst certain religious groups.

He said that the Kashmir government should remain focused on providing better governance and raising the Kashmir cause at global fora.

He remarked that forceful occupation of Kashmir was against the modern norms of nation state and people's basic right to self-determination - the right to form government as per people's aspirations free from foreign interference.

Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has said that Kashmir issue was not just a territorial dispute but a question of people's inherent right to self-determination.

The development budget for the PaK had been doubled. Pakistan fought the biggest war on terror in the world with huge sacrifices and succeeded whereas the world had failed, he added.

The prime minister also advised the AJK government to strive for providing a better governance system so that people could get their issues resolved at their doorsteps.
