How to change your Amazon Echo wake word

How to change your Amazon Echo wake word

The Echo Dot is available for Rs 4,499, while the Echo costs Rs 9,999, and Echo Plus costs Rs 14,999. If you've got an Echo set up in your living room and another one in your office, you can say, "Alexa, drop in on the office" from your living room and broadcast a message.

Along with the start of offline sales via its partners, Amazon has also removed the invite system from their website for getting an Echo smart speaker.

Starting today, Amazon Echo Dot, Echo, and Echo Plus are widely available for purchase by all customers in India. All that the user needs to do is, just ask, and Alexa will answer questions, play music, turn lights on and off, give sports scores, check the weather, or even call your friends and do a lot more. The Individual Voice Profiles feature allows users to set up different profiles, so Alexa can offer personalised results to each of the individuals.

Echo smart speakers are voice-controlled and have been created to always be ready to take instructions from the users.

In addition to expanding the availability of Echo smart speakers to the physical retailers, Amazon India has announced it is bringing a number of new features to the Echo devices and Alexa voice assistant, including Alexa-to-Alexa calling support.

Once a Canary user enables the Alexa skill within the Alexa mobile app, they'll need to sign in with their Canary credentials, after which point they'll have prompts to follow for connecting their devices.

Amazon has also introduced the multi-room music feature, which will let users play and control music across multiple Echo devices at the same time.

Routines support: You can use Routines to automate a series of customisable actions using a single voice command of your choice. In the offline channel, Amazon has tied up with over 350 retail outlets across 20 cities in India, including the likes of Reliance Digital, Croma, Crossword and more. This means the Alexa skill is suitable for the Echo Show, Amazon's large video-enabled Echo device, the newer, rounder, and much smaller Echo Spot, as well as compatible Fire TVs.
