Nawaz Sharif: Pakistan sent terrorists to India to execute 26/11 attacks

Ousted Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif appeared to admit that Pakistani terrorists carried out the 2008 Mumbai attacks, known as 26/11, and suggest that such terror strikes could have been prevented. Sharif, though, did not name the 26/11 mastermind, Hafiz Saeed, and Maulana Masood Azhar's Jamaat-ud-Dawah and Jaish-e-Mohammad that operate in Pakistan with impunity. "Please ensure that Pakistan is declared a terrorist state by the entire global community and sanctions imposed upon it for aiding and abetting terrorism from its soil". He was trying to become a hero by acknowledging that.

The PML-N leader was questioning why the trial into the Mumbai attacks was stalled at a anti-terrorism court. Despite the sacrifices, nobody accepts our point.

"This also is evident to the fact that the Pakistan government is a puppet in the hands of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Pakistan Army, which is why, out of fear when Nawaz was Prime Minister of the country, he never admitted the attack", Nikam added.

The Chief Minister of Punjab and the party President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is all set to chair a high-profile Diplomat's conference, in which Ambassadors of almost hundred countries will participate. Nine of the attackers were killed by police while lone survivor Ajmal Kasab was caught in Mumbai and hanged after being handed down a death sentence.

Sharif, who has been disqualified from holding public office for life by the Supreme Court in the Panama Papers case, said Pakistan has isolated itself. It must stop. There should be only one government, which has been elected through the constitutional process'. However, Pakistan has repeatedly asked for 24 Indian witnesses to be presented in court to help finish the trial.
