Galaxy Note9 name confirmed by Samsung for its 'most powerful phone yet'

Samsung is also reportedly working on a dual charging wireless pad that it may launch alongside the Galaxy Note 9. The text on the screen shows "Powerful all day battery". Is there anything left? Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is scheduled to launch at "Galaxy Unpacked" event on August 9.

Samsung will officially launch the Note 9 on August 9th, at an Unpacked event in NY. It's not that big of a deal, since we already knew everything there is to know about the phone.

The company have confirmed that the device will make its debut on 9 August at an event in NY. Above, a dual camera, flash and fingerprint sensor are clearly visible as well.

From all the renders and leaks we've seen, we can speculate with some confidence as to what the Galaxy Note 9 will look like. The video, that has now been taken down, teases and also confirms some of the top features of the Galaxy Note 8 successor.

Why? Samsung's on a good formula with its current design and knows it.

What will be inside this beast?

Unlike years past, we're expecting some changes from Samsung in the design and implementation of the S Pen. We don't usually report on unconfirmed rumours, but it is said that the phone might come with a 4000mAh battery, which represents a 21% increase over the Note 8's 3300mAh capacity.

Galaxy Note 9 is expected to be offered in two more variants of 6GB RAM plus 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM plus 256GB storage.

With Bluetooth, there really are few limits as to what Samsung could conceivably do here. The intro video and product page have since been removed, as well as DMCA takedowns issued to those that ripped it to their own YouTube. It is speculated that one of the most anticipated games for Android, Fortnite, can get exclusive for 30 days to Note 9. In terms of storage, Samsung claims the smartphone to be "1 terabyte ready". But what puts it so far ahead of any other fitness app on the Play Store in terms of downloads is the fact that it's pre-installed on a wide variety of Samsung phones.
