Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcome adorable dog to royal family

She previously owned two rescue pups before she had to leave one of them, a Labrador/shepherd mix Bogart, behind when she moved from Toronto to London.

Yup, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly welcomed something new to their family - a cute little doggo. The couple have chose to expand their family and welcome a puppy to their home at Nottingham College, Kensington Palace.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the Markle family row behind for the Scottish climes this weekend.

You might remember Prince Harry also revealed in his engagement interview that the Corgis took an instant liking to his then-fiancée.

"The dog is already happily ensconced at their cottage, " a royal source told The Daily Mail.

Their new addition comes around the time that Prince Harry and Meghan marked three months as husband and wife with a lavish holiday in Lake Como with A-list couple George and Amal Clooney.

'Like the Sussexes, the dog will divide its time between the palace and their country home in the Cotswolds'.

While in London, Meghan and Harry live in Nottingham Cottage, a small property in the grounds of the grander Kensington Palace. It's also not clear what gender or color the labrador is.

Nevertheless, the now unnamed dog joins Meghan Markle's Beagle named Guy, who made the move with her from Canada to England when she married Prince Harry. In addition to Harry, her sister-in-law Kate Middleton has advised Meghan because she knows what she is going through.

However, Bogart was deemed too old to make the journey to the United Kingdom from Canada when Meghan moved late a year ago. Guy, however, transitioned with her, moving into Kensington Palace and seemingly adapting well to his new regal lifestyle. Follow INSIDER on Facebook.
