Rangers complete loan signing of defender Joe Worrall

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard confirms that a deal has been agreed for Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall to join the Scottish Premiership side on loan for the season.

"But for us to get someone of that experience in - of that quality - is great as it will help a lot of our younger players".

Wednesday fans had plenty to add too, with Matt Surgeon writing: "He's injured mate and has been for several months.we need him more than the Hoops.Sooner he's back playing for Wednesday the better." and John Callaghan adding: "Sorry no chance, going to be banging em in for Wednesday next month".

I thought eleven v eleven we looked very unsafe, we took the lead and we were in control. We understand where it is at and we understand the offer is significant but it is no good for us.

He continued: "Ovie's goal was sensational".

UEFA representatives are said to have sat down with members of the European Club Association and it was decided that, based on the growing popularity and attractiveness of the Europa League, a third competition would be ideal as there are many marketing opportunities to exploit. "They seem to be challenging certainly me as a manager when it comes down to heart pressure and grey hairs". My players did that tonight.

A move for Osijek winger Eros Grezda is still to be completed but Worrall's move has been signed off with 24 hours to spare ahead of Friday's transfer deadline. "It's something I'm sure will change over the next few days". I think it's what we deserve and tonight we became a team and we've relaunched Rangers because I feel like we have achieved something together.
